About the Care & Prayer Team

The Care & Prayer team provides in-person prayer ministry after each service and supports the pastoral care team in following up with members going through difficult seasons.

Open Positions

3 Roles on This Team

Each role has a different engagement level and time commitment. Find the one that fits your life and gifts.

Low Commitment: 1-2 hrs/Sunday. Great for newcomers or those with busy schedules.
Medium Commitment: 2-3 hrs/Sunday. Includes some prep or training time.
High Commitment: 3+ hrs/Sunday plus weekly rehearsal or prep. For those ready to go deep.

Prayer Team Member

Medium

You are stationed at the front of the sanctuary after service, available to pray with anyone who comes forward.

2.5 hrs/Sunday + monthly training

You make phone calls and send personal notes to members who have been identified as needing pastoral care.

You sit with families who have experienced loss, providing a compassionate presence at funerals and hospital visits.
